Whilst it may appear that milling machine PCs may not require high specifications, they actually do. They heavily rely on the CPU for calculations, and most milling software fully utilise the CPU, often reaching 100% usage. Therefore, employing a low-performance 4-core CPU is not efficient. As a minimum recommendation, we advocate for an 8-core CPU. This upgrade will yield significant performance and speed enhancements compared to any milling machine that is 2 to 3 years old.

It's noteworthy that certain milling software permits simultaneous calculation of multiple jobs. Hence, investing in a fast and robust CPU is certainly a form of future-proofing.
